Describe a subject you enjoyed studying at school.

On the first day of class, our teacher handed out a syllabus that outlined all the topics we would cover throughout the year. We were required to read from a variety of books and other resources, which helped broaden our understanding. We explored stories of historical figures ranging from warriors and philosophers to artists and political leaders. We also studied major global events such as wars, revolutions, and cultural transformations, as well as ancient religions and traditions.
Although the subject demanded a lot of memorization—which many of us found challenging—it sparked a deep interest in me. I was always curious to understand how past events shaped the modern world. Studying history gave me a greater appreciation for different cultures and societies, and it continues to influence the way I see the world today.
IELTS Speaking Part 3
How well do you think schools should prepare young people for working life?
Schools play a crucial role in shaping young minds, not only academically but also in terms of life preparation. Since we spend a significant portion of our early years in school, it should act as a foundation for both personal and professional growth.
In addition to teaching core subjects like math, science, and language, schools should also equip students with practical life skills and career guidance. Workshops on communication, teamwork, financial literacy, and problem-solving can be incredibly valuable. Career counseling services and internships can also help students explore different professions and prepare for the transition into the workforce.
